Welcome back to Fox Richmond and DigitalSports!

Stephen Lewis back with you as Meadowbrook leads J.R. Tucker 17-8 going into the second period.

Meadowbrook’s defensive aggressiveness is taking over the contest so far. Let’s see what transpires.

SECOND QUARTER

Matt Camfield buries a 3-pointer for Tucker. The Tiger fans are showing life.

Meadowbrook now holds a 32-18 lead. Harry West is trying to convert a three-point play, he misses. 3:45 to go in the half, right when Camfield hits a 3-pointer.

Darrin James is playing big again inside, 11-point lead for Meadowbrook.

Until Marvin King-Davis finishes inside, back to 13 points for Meadowbrook. Now a steal, West is on fire! He hits from the FT line.

James Bazemore answers as the pace has picked up significantly.

Tucker with two fastbreak buckets in a row, Montre Carr and Camfield. Timeout MBK, 1:42 to go.

Tucker made a great comeback, down 3 at half, 38-35.

THIRD QUARTER

Chase Desgain
buries a jumper as Tucker takes its first lead, 39-38! 6:41 to go with King-Davis going to the FT line.

Tucker up two now as Camfield gets loose for two.

Action has picked up, Harry West with four straight points. Tucker turns it over under pressure, down four points, 49-45, 4:03 left.

MBK is now ahead 51-47, 2:25 to go. Camfield is at the line, he’s been slicing up MBK’s paint all night. Misses the first. Hits the second, Tucker down three.

Deshawn Morman gets into the action, burying a floater for MBK. Jaquan Daily answers Tre Caiby‘s two with three, MBK up six.

Karsene Denard, the 3-point champ, getting it done defensively with the steal and finish. Camfield answers, then West gets fouled, .7 left.

One of two FTs are good, MBK is ahead 59-52 going into the fourth.

FOURTH QUARTER


Caiby is at the line, trying to cut MBK’s lead to three. He does, 61-58 MBK, 5:55 and counting.

Meadowbrook is ahead 70-62 now, almost three minutes left. Daily just scored off a feed from West.

Camfield knocks in two FTs to keep the pressure on.

Zach Desgain now at the line, he hits two as Tucker is down 72-68. 1 minute left.

There will be a sea of Monarchs going to the line soon. Tucker only has five fouls and is trying to force MBK into the bonus.

MBK wins 78-71, second straight tournament title!
