It’s time again for DigitalSports Richmond to have its own tournament.
The Henrico Holiday Hoops Tournament, Fox Richmond and DS Richmond have joined forces to bring the sixth annual after Christmas boys basketball tournament.
The tournament stretches over three days, beginning Monday, December 28 at 2:30 p.m., and for the first time has a JV tournament that starts on Tuesday.
Eight teams are in the tourney and will play three games each: defending champion Meadowbrook and last year’s MVP Andrew Simmons, Hermitage, Lee-Davis, J.R. Tucker, Chesterfield Community, Douglas Freeman, Clover Hill and host Henrico.
We are also working on a 3-point shootout in conjunction with the tournament.

DS editor Stephen Lewis will be working extremely hard alongside former Deep Run star and current Maryland volleyball standout Brittney Grove, as the intern makes her DigitalSports debut.
