Meadowbrook Monarchs
The left side of Meadowbrook’s offensive line had perhaps the best offensive lineman in the nation on it in Morgan Moses.
But Derek Tinsley wasn’t chopped liver. The 6-0, 285-pound guard helped Moses blow open holes for a myriad of backs and gave Desmond Coble plenty of time to work his magic.
He also stood out at defensive tackle for Meadowbrook, but is needed at guard on this team, where he was a first-team all-state pick.
“I think defensive tackle was my favorite because I got many awards for that,” Tinsley said. “In my previous years I haven’t shown that I can play much D, but I’m glad my senior year I showed that I can play some D.”
